Thank You Notes

Our Dear Christmas Angels,
My husband and I can’t thank you enough for your generosity. No amount of words on paper could tell you how sincerely grateful we are to you. It’s people like yourselves that make our world a better place.

If it wasn’t for your warm hearts and a gift for giving, our family wouldn’t have had the Christmas we shared. We only hope that one day we can give back to a family in need at a time when it is needed, like you have done for our family. I like to take some time and tell you about our Christmas and how your gifts made our morning most fulfilled.

Our son Kyle loves to be in the kitchen, he’s only 19 months old, but he’s always the first one to help his mamma out. He makes more of a mess than helps but that’s OK. When Kyle opened the magic ravel stove we had a hard time getting him to open any thing else. He played for a good half hour before we could get him to open his next gift. He opened the Glow Tiger and had a great time making us turn the lights out so he could see the light on the walls. We spent lots of time turning the lights on and off. As a family we played with his mega blocks, we spent a good two hours building different kinds of designs. We had also gotten him mega blocks and now have enough to build our own home. lol!

My husband and I are very thankful for our gifts. We both now have new clothes to wear, with lots of chocolate and cookies to spill on them. We played the board game (sorry) and had a great time. It was something we never did together and we will now continue to do. We can’t wait for Kyle to be old enough to play with us.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for what you have done for our family. You will be forever remembered. From our family to yours, may this New Year bring good fortune for your wonderful gift of giving.- Stephanie

I can’t begin to express what your Centre has done for my children and I this Christmas! The abundance of gifts was overwhelming to say the least. The grocery gift cards are most definitely a life-saver and will go to extremely good use. All of the gifts were perfect, but more than the monetary value, I so appreciate the thought and effort put behind each one. Rebuilding our lives has been difficult, but your kind actions have really lightened the load. For that especially, I thank you. Please know I won’t forget the kind gesture of all the families and staff, and will certainly pass the love and good will forward.- Stephanie H.

Miracles happen all around us, everyday. Some are small and almost unnoticeable. Others are so large, that they cannot be missed.

Last week, I experienced one of the greatest miracles ever since my arrival in this great country of ours, Canada. When my faith was at its all time low, life so confusing, and I could think of no place to go, each of you were preparing me a solace, a place of belief, an opportunity to believe again. Each of you in your mercy toward me, toward my family created a special miracle. Because of your kindness, because of your light, I regain a hint of faith and my family smiles tonight.

For your love and kindness to our family, Thank You! May you receive many blessings, many miracles in return. From all of us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. –Rita

I am writing to thank you for your incredible generosity to a family in need this Christmas. I dropped the gifts at the home of this family and I can only say that I wish you could have witnessed that moment in time. Mom cried, dad stared in amazement. The couple had expressed their worries about “not having Christmas” for their kids this year. Now, thanks to you, they will have a wonderful Christmas!! I left the home with tears in my eyes… tears for their joy and tears of gratitude for your kindness. I wish there were words to express to you the difference you have made in the lives of this family and their children. – (on behalf of recipient family) Bonnie, Social Worker
