Sally Woodcock Award Sally Woodcock was a social worker at CCAS for over 25 years. She was elected President of CUPE Local 2190 in 1999 and served until her untimely death in November, 2000.Sally demonstrated a special interest in and commitment to youth served by the Society. She was especially inspired by young people who put effort into improving their lives, despite difficult and stressful circumstances. In keeping with Sally Woodcock's dedication to children who face many challenges, her colleagues, friends, and CUPE Local 2190 created a special fund to be available for CCAS youth between ages 14 and 18, to acknowledge their progress and to provide an incentive for working towards goals, to reward them for special achievements, and to let them know they are cherished. This year the Sally Woodcock presented 6 youth with recognition awards for effort.
